Product Listing Ads allow you to include an image, title, price, promotional message, and your store or business name inside your ads, without the need for you to create unique ads for each product you sell. Product Listing Ads show a set of relevant products for a given search. The ads appear in their own box on Google Search (separate from text ads), on Google search partner websites that display and link to products for sale, and on Google Shopping. There are also shopping engines such as Amazon, ShopZilla, PriceGrabber and Nextag we implement / use.

PLA Setup:

  • Work with supplied data feeds to create proper format required for each listing service
  • Map products to each service’s taxonomy
  • Update product URLs for better tracking in Google Analytics
  • Optimize product titles, descriptions Setup ads in the chosen services, organizing ad groups / products for best results
  • Set initial campaign budget levels, product bids Generate optional tracking code from individual PLA sites for enhanced reporting

PLA Management:

  • Daily / Weekly review of product performance (CPC, CTR, Listing Pos., Conv. Rates, etc.)
  • Update bids based on performance and product focus
  • Manage budget across chosen listing services to maximize value
  • Continue to optimize titles, descriptions and taxonomy placement to improve results
  • Quality review to insure feeds are accurate and error free Make technical updates to feeds and campaigns to keep up with changes to PLA tools and listing requirements
  • Regular review with Client / PPC Management team to ensure goals are being met and strategy is up-to-date
  • Monthly reporting to highlight sales revenue, spend, conversion rate and other data
